Carpet Style has been trading since 1981 and is family owned. On commercial work that matters for one practical reason: the people who quote your job are the people who see it through, and they are accountable to each other rather than to a head office.
We are used to working with main contractors, housebuilders, letting and managing agents, care operators, schools and facilities teams. That means programme dates, RAMS, site inductions, phased handovers and working around live premises are routine rather than exceptional.
Every fitting team is employed by us. We do not subcontract, so the people on your site are ours, DBS and CSCS arrangements are handled directly, and the standard of finish is ours to answer for.
We hold CHAS SSIP accreditation and carry £10m employers’ liability, £5m public liability and £5m products liability cover. Method statements and risk assessments are provided as standard, and our health and safety training is Peninsula approved.
Full details, along with downloadable policies and a sample RAMS, are on our health, safety and compliance page.
We are members of the Carpet Foundation, which operates a TSI approved code of practice, and of the Carpet 1st retail buying group.
Who should I contact about a commercial enquiry?
Commercial enquiries go to Bradley Chilton, Head of Commercial. You will deal with a named contact throughout rather than a general enquiries line.
Do you provide RAMS and method statements?
Yes, as standard. We hold CHAS SSIP accreditation and can provide a sample RAMS, our health and safety policy and our environmental policy on request or from our compliance page.
Do you subcontract your fitting teams?
No. All our fitting teams are employed by Carpet Style. That means we control site conduct, training and standards directly, and DBS and CSCS arrangements are handled in house.
What insurance cover do you carry?
£10m employers’ liability, £5m public liability and £5m products liability. Certificates are available on request for PQQ and tender submissions.
