Duffield and the Amber Valley villages hold a lot of older stone and brick property alongside newer development toward Belper. Older houses often have uneven or draughty floors that need preparing properly before anything is laid, and we would rather tell you that at the measure than after. We carry wool-rich, twist and saxony carpets from Cormar, Ulster, Westex, Brockway and Penthouse, plus LVT, laminate and engineered wood.
Meadow Vale trades as Meadow Vale Carpets and has served Duffield and Belper for years as part of Carpet Style. There is free parking and no appointment needed. It is a Karndean Inspire Studio, Karndean’s own dedicated showroom format, with the wood and stone effect designs brought together on one stand. Crucial Trading natural fibre carpets are on full display here alongside the main wool and twist ranges, and V4 engineered wood can be viewed here rather than ordered blind.
Every order is measured and fitted by our own employed fitting teams rather than subcontractors. we move furniture, lift and dispose of your old flooring, and come back if anything needs attention. Free, no-obligation home measures across Duffield, Belper, Allestree, Quarndon, Little Eaton and the surrounding villages.

Thank you to Brad and the rest of the team at carpet style for such great service. They made me feel so comfortable as soon as I walked through the door and really took the time to give me honest advice. I had my carpet fitted yesterday and I’m so impressed with the quality and the fitting.
The fitters who came to fit the carpets were excellent. The service included the removal and disposal of old carpets and flooring. New carpets were fitted without hassle and the guys are just great! Super friendly and didn’t mind the dog trying to get in on the action.
Our house is under renovation and trouble during repairs. Ended up having to postpone the fitting several times. All the staffs have been very helpful and you can’t fault anything from the communication, customer service, the quality of the carpet nor the fitters.
These guys were helpful from start to finish. Very helpful in the shop and not pushy at all. Our fitter was on time, very friendly and got done quickly. Will be sure to use them again.
From start to finish, the team were fantastic. They kept me up to date every day during the fitting as I wasn’t at the property, and any issues that arose were instantly resolved without any fuss at all and with polite professionalism. Excellent value for money and really happy with the result. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
Our experience with Carpet Style was the best possible. Great product quality and amazing customer service. They were always very kind and helpful. We highly recommend Carpet Style.
Amazing service. All the chaps are more than keen to help and will go beyond to make sure you’re getting bang for your buck and exactly what you need. The fitters are such nice blokes too. Overall a fantastic experience and we have already got another carpet bought and booked to be fitted as we were so pleased the first time around!
We have been customers of Carpet Style for many years and have always found them to be very professional. Today was no exception! Their Fitter, Brian, was excellent and deserves nothing but praise for the way in which he carried out the fitting in a friendly and efficient manner. We’ll keep going back to Carpet Style as they offer excellent value for money as well as excellent before and after-sales service.
